Steve Re:"apparent channel" .. this is good. I believe that the bond pits open @ 8:00 AM. My remarks last week about bond puts were mostly based on my gut feelings. My gut feelings were that we were going to go down a lot further (DJIA, S&P etc) soo .. my gut had been wrong so many times lately I figured it had to be wrong here also. Looks like we have a continued flight to quality today. Bond purchases will be financed by stock sales. Conservative cash goes to the thirty year. Shorter term bonds represent the owners willingness to take risk. This, I think, leads to the inverted yield curve. Gersh
