I'm in for some more at 7 7/16. The low made at the open (7 1/4) may stand until the next major semiconductor downturn in the year 2029 or whatever. I really think that the news has been way over discounted now. This stock has been pounded and then repounded. How much more bad news can come out? Here's my prediction... shorts and value players will support the stock until it starts moving up and then the momentum players will come in. If the overall market recoups some of it's losses today, then I think VLSI could trade all the way back to 9. Some of the weakness today is due to the overall market weakness and the stock is "only" down 1 1/8. With market strength, I don't think it would have been down more than 1/2 to 3/4.
