re. GTAX, sure the warrant holders can short the stock in advance of the call. It's what I would do if I had the warrants. One could argue that by not waiting for the registration to be deemed effective the short selling would be tantamount to selling unregistered stock on the common market, but since there are probably many small warrant holders I can't imagine anybody ever challenging them on this.

BTW, the co. put out a news release this a.m. which says that the co. is doing fine. There was no particular reason for them to do this except that they are presumably bothered by the stock price decline yesterday. The news release also gives us the helpful info that their earnings release won't be due till late Sept., so that would seem to give us a nice quiet period till then.
