I feel compelled to comment on l'affaire Trinske. This declaration of hostilities seems totally unfounded. This board has been very supportive of Simula while being very fairly critical. It is one of the most intelligent, insightful and literate boards I have come across.
In fact what Trinske and management may be missing is that this board is, in effect and despite its independence, a *part* of Simula's investor relations. In fact, probably the best part.

The typical internet stock board seems to me to be full of cheerleaders. Then, when the price goes down, an occassional flamer comes through, the rest of the board participants go "cluck, cluck, cluck...what *he* said," and it's back to cheerleading.

I want to thank the participants on this board for their excellent contributions. Investing should, in part, be fun. This board kind of reminds me of a family: Papa N.O. presides (and even checks on the kids when he's away on vacation!). There's Jaime, the clever brother,
Michael the sly but slightly underachieving brother-in-law and Francois, the dashing old-fashioned uncle from abroad who drops in on occassion to mention his bolliger bands (which, for all I know, are used to hold up his French socks). I only wish that Wally hadn't left home.
