Henry I am going to call the company today, also, just to give 'em what for. I had a long, long conversation with Troy Ussery (not sure I'm spelling that last name right) just before the conference call last month. He gave me a lot of detailed, fact-filled information about what is going on with the company including new products, orders, and strategic partnerships (this includes Gateway, Dell, Texas Instruments). I felt comfortable at the time that ICOM is truly a turn-around company on the verge of a breakout.
However, I am not at all happy with their stock performance. They seem to be focusing on the company itself vis-a-vis products and customer/order buildup, and of course this is good. However, there is such a thing as "investor relations", and here they are falling down. Troy is an upfront guy, but I don't believe he is an effective marketer/promoter. There is no excuse for this dearth of public information when the company is approaching much worked for success. The stockholders deserve better.
It is possible that everything he told me was a lie, but how likely is that? If you find anything out, post it; I will also. |
