By my count Mr. Norton is 1 and 0. He has taken what was a very loose approach to proving up FL with a wide variety of methods and put a good tight grip around it, drilled it properly for testing, standardized the test procedures and as a result exposed once and for all that the SFA puzzle was NOT solved by Ledoux.
His resume stands and if someone could please post it, (I know that Mr. 2 has a copy) we can all see just what he has done and therefor what he is likely to able to accomplish.
I will try to find it in the posts from Kim, but if someone has it handy, please jump in.
Your general questions regarding Mr. Norton and his role are all very important and need to be answered by management, not me or anyone else here. We need to hear what is the plan moving forward and why Mr. Norton and Jeremy are the right team to accomplish the objectives.
Why anyone moves to any company is very complex. Why did Gail McGovern, a real fast mover in AT&T, the highest level woman executive, leave AT&T, the worlds preeminant telecommunciations provider, and go to a much smaller company? Who knows.
Call the company and ask Mr. Norton yourself (not about Gail) and get back to us. We would all like to know.
