Over the past 3 years, the semiconductor market has been dead and earnings have declined. However, chip stocks were able to go up??? Pure speculation, it will happen again sometime over the next year. Look at micron, losing hundreds of millions and the stock is performing well. Basically, there are 2 opportunities for a lsi recovery: speculation (the most likely) or a turn around in the chip market.
