Intuitively, that doesn't make sense. Excluding weather factors, high frequency transmissions are also affected by other RF interference as well as physical impediments (other building or structures). Here in Dallas, we have had a taste of the new high frequency transmission standards in cellular: CDMA (Sprint and Primeco). System is horrible! Even standing still! Biggest problems are structural impediments and oversubscription!

BTW, I have not read what oversubsription rate Winstar will be using for their PMP systems. Would you happen to know? Quality of service on telephone conversations has to match the telephone company's level, but then your revenue figures will be impacted if you lower your oversubscription rate.

Just a little food for thought...
