I am also curious about a 5-7 year life expectancy of Bowflex sales. I know from talking to Rod in the past that the useful life of a commercial is only 1-2 years. Are they planning a new set of commercials, or new distribution or other approaches to extend the life?

I think Cook's opinion is based on Soloflex selling from 1979 to it's peak in early 1990s. I have tried to find info on Soloflex, but since they were a private company, reliable info is hard to find. Do you have any info on how many units Soloflex was able to move over the years? Cook said they would continue to enhance and improve Bowflex as they have over the years. A little bummer story, the guy that invented the Bowflex system sold his stock around 1.00 after the big run from .11 in 1996 or early 1997. I'm glad I didn't!MH
