Alan- In re: Did Brinker by chance even hint at a coming bear over the weekend?" Not to my knowledge. To recall it, Brinker re-affirmed his bullish stance last weekend. While some here noted a lack of resolve in Brinker's expressed bullishness on Saturday last (please see #reply-5623980), Brinker came roaring back on the Sunday following. With the DJIA and S&P 500 having closed at roughly $8050 and $1025, respectively, that prior Friday (28 August), Brinker upgraded his "buying opportunity" at DJIA $8650 to an "excellent buying opportunity" at DJIA $8050.
