Commodities could be just making an oversold bounce here, gold should provide a hedge against currency problems and the dollar chart looks like it may have made a major reversal.

Aussies and Russians dumping gold, somebody was buying to make a $17 reversal in just a couple of trading days.

In SA Rand gold is up 25% year as of 8/31. If the dollar continues to devalue you can see the leveraged effect the XAU can give you on the POG.
