Let me work on that TLC. Several vendor sites offer White Papers which can be a good source of info, albeit slightly "slanted" info. Check out cylink.com for a start. Select "library" in the left frame and then "white papers." (Don't believe what they say about Triple DES though.) Entrust also has some white papers in Adobe Acroreader format: entrust.com One of the best English-language explanations of security basics I've read is in Bruce Schneier's E-mail Security book. The whole first part of the book is dedicated to just explaining encryption, key management, authentication, certificates, etc...
