They are cutting production in the 16 mb and 64mb PC66 DRAM chips where they were always having a difficult time making money. Maybe MU "IS" one of the low cost manufacturers for those products.

As far as PC100 products go, not all suppliers are able to compete in this product line b/c of its complexity. Also many SEA'ians do not have the funds to keep up with the technology. You have to notice now that it is only going to get worse as the DRAM technology quickly changes leaving many in the dust. There will probably be only a handful of large memory companies producing the following RDRAM and beyond.
