ALL VCAR HOLDERS:
I received this email from Sam ... respond directly to him with any questions. I was glad to see this email, as it helped confirm what I learned from Tim Enright several weeks ago and posted for your reading pleasure:

Folks: I got some news from a good source. If you could forward this to other Vector-philes (especially the Techstock crowd), I'd appreciate it. Vector is looking into a joint-project with an English company. Although, it was hoped that the company would be TVR (excellent sports cars, racing history and engines of their own design) this turned out to be wrong. Vector is looking into importing a MARCOS for evaluation. Marcos has been building sports cars for a number of years, but, like Vector, doesn't have much production, doesn't build their own engines, doesn't have much name recognition in the US, and are thought of as a step above a kit car. Marcos' could be imported and marketed at well under $100k, but in volumes well below that of other products in this price range. For further information on Marcos, check out (http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/mark_saxby/models.htm) Thought you'd like to know. Sam
