Microsoft ordered to hand over evidence to DOJ zdnet.com

Oops, wrong again, or I just wasn't keeping up. I wrote:

Remember, this is by and large a different suit from the DoJ Sherman action. Civil suit, Caldera (ghost of DR) vs. Microsoft, going to trial in Utah sometime this fall. It might feed into the DoJ action, which is broader in scope, but I don't recall it coming up.

Seems it just came up.

Justice Department attorneys had also recently asked Microsoft for information regarding Microsoft's actions regarding DR-DOS.

DR-DOS, a competitor to Microsoft's MS-DOS operating system, was all but driven from the marketplace by spurious warning messages generated when users tried to use early versions of Windows 3.1 and DR-DOS together, critics say. Microsoft has denied the charge.

Poor Andy may get deposed again. Looks like an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire at this point.

Cheers, Dan.
