"Cash" is part of money supply, it does not increase, nor decrease if somebody buys stock, or sells stock. Just changes hands. Somebody always has it. Same as when you buy a sheep, the seller gives you the sheep, you give the seller NZ$100. NZ$100 just changed hands. As did the sheep.

Just think what will happen if amount of cash decreases? ... Still thinking?
