I'm curious, Bill. What do you think should have happened to Bush if he was lying when he denied the story? Should he have been investigated for abusing public funds? Should the media have gone out and uncovered more about Fitzgerald? Should she have been tracked down by the press and investigators until she either fessed up or issued a categorical denial? The only difference here is that Fitzgerald had a certain amount of discretion and Bush lied better.

Doughboy.
