Sandy, those are some of the brand names and good solid core stocks. They'll outpace the market over time.

I wonder if we've got a long correction that takes years to play out or
a short correction like we experienced in 1987 ? Each day we have a completly different fundamental perception of the factors moving the market. Strong dollar turns to weak dollar over night. Selloff in natural resources changes to a rally. Tech stocks are up, no they're down. This is a daytrader's dream climate. Just wait for the trend to develop and run with it....for the few hours that it lasts.

Friday promises to be an ugly day. Many traders will sell off rather than hold "long term" over the weekend.
