Joseph - not to be an a#$%^&*, but I have worked as an options arbitrage trader on Wall Street, and I do not want to let your comment go unchallenged. If you write a covered call, you are reducing your risk. When you reduce your risk, you are reducing your return. If you think you have found a stock and call option that violates this reduced risk therefore reduced return, you are just kidding yourself. Jon.
