I've seen the TV ads. With the limited resources at Cyrixes command a license agreement is the way to go. These guys are brilliant engineers but don't seem to have to marketing skills. I thought the decision to market a Cyrix PC was a bad one. There is high value in name recognition. With a licence agreement everyones box could be saying Cyrix inside. If you are a bug trying to fight a giant you should get in his eye.
