Hi Freeus,

I remember you saying the other day that you did some trading on Monday that you regretted later. I know the feeling well. A couple of things that have helped me on days like that is:

1. Turn off CNBC. If you own good stocks and you're not a daytrader there's no reason to watch the tape and listen to all the negative drivel from every analyst, fund manager, economist and commentator they'll dig up to assure you that the whole world is going to hell-in-a-handbasket and "we told ya so." In a fast moving and emotional market, it's easy to do something you really shouldn't do. Also, listening to Ron Insana for more than 30 seconds could drive a person to suicide!
2. Go for a walk. Try and concentrate on something else (easier said than done). I did this on Monday. If I hadn't I'm sure I would have been dumping stuff I didn't want to.

Just a couple of things that have helped me. Good luck Freeus.

Ian
