Steve, had a few minutes and thought I would just comment on your post. Your knowledge of reservoir characteristics is hilarious to say the least. I would keep that kind of knowledge to myself if I were you. And the swabbing technology is not new, new, new. You just described basic swabbing. The swab tool is a lubricator, weight bar, mandrel, and swab cup.

Some fields are more economically produced with swabbing units. But before you go spend the 125K for one, other methods need to be explored. If there is no bottom hole pressure, then the zone is dead. The only way to bring it back to life is through secondary recovery methods. Water flood, polymer flood, CO2 injection. And that writes swabbing units out because you are looking for volume and limestones and fractured chalks are not good candidates for any type of secondary recovery methods. If the formation is tight, permeability is generally lower so flow through formation is restricted.

Surely your sales pitch is more technical than what you just stated, if not, you need to learn a whole lot more because most people I know would laugh you right out of their offices.

Good Luck!
