El, I have gained a lot of respect for Charles Payne (sp?) and I must say, Battapaglia (sp?) deserves a certain amount of respect....they both call em as the see em. I can't wait to get back into CPQ, waiting for the wash sale period to expire. BTW, can anyone tell me with the Feds. consider a similar number of shares is considered when buying back an issue within the 30 day period of taking a loss? If I sell 1000 shares, do they consider 2000 similar or like number of shares. I try not to make a habit of losing money, and have never worried about the wash sale rules before....always figured I would make more with a repurchase and didn't worry about no claiming the loss. Any info appreciated. GLTA Jeff
