jim, i'm mostly in small, illiquid value plays. at least they were value last year. now they are screaming "buy me, buy me" at the top of their lungs.

the bear is here and has been for wile for the VAST majority of stocks. the dow isn't the be all end all. neither is the s&p. san diego bios are down 65%+ since late last year. other bios are being cremated. lots of small caps are being pounded. if the dow fell another 1.8k to 2.2k then they woulda just caught up with the small to midcaps. the carnage is everywhere.

the net stock fund outflows have been avging about $2 billion per weerk of late. ther buy and hold, never worriers appear to be a little worried ;-)

my puts on amzn, gtw, cmb (so sweet so far!) and mu are hoping the liquidity dries right up and this little pyramid scheme collapses. then i can take the proceeds and put them in some small caps that are ravaged and the 70s after the nifty 50 crash can repeat all over again. the small caps boomed during the recovery b/c they were annihilated.
