lindybill, do you think mike is a communist ;-) that statement would kinda imply it. however, i know mike and he is many things (mostly bad, of course - you know smart *ss, piss poor joke teller, pompous fart and, some say, a complete fraud who has never made money in the market ;-) - but not a communist.
ask him what he meant. my guess is he is just railing against system that is far from perfect. capitalism has many excesses that can cause much mondo damage to many people. so does every system ever invented.
people are inherently self serving (not necessarily each and every individual but the majority, vast majority, are and they rule) and that is why there is no perfect system. everyone is looking to transfer wealth and power to themselves (and it must be taken from somewhere - hence inequities).
