"do sometimes some reasoning"? Hmmm... beware of geeks bearing gifts... Maurice, is this some diabolical plot to cause a rift between Ericsson and Nokia troops?

BTW, Helsinki is kicking Wall Street's butt! Nokia was down 4% in New York, but is currently actually up in HEX. I think it's about the time Helsinki started calling the shots around here. Let's see how long it lasts.

That Ericsson comment was pure rock'n'roll. Never surrender. They apparently do think they don't need Qualcomm IPR's for W-CDMA. I can think of no other reason for making this kind of statement. If they thought they had to ultimately capitulate, why would they antagonize Qualcomm this way? If they didn't have a strong bargaining position, why would they be so aggressive?

Motorola in the thirties... we're talking corporate survival now. Will they live to see the spring as an intact entity? No.
