I sold the Puts Wednesday, then there was a rebound Thursday (urgh...) and today I bought some more.
Mind you I depend on MSNBC in this corner of Europe, so my information is second-rate (g). BTW I do read also local newspapers (ggg) so maybe my cosmic guardian angel will help me get it straight.

Before the melt-down an average US family had 120k$ of paper profits which they (you) happily borrowed against to go on buying spree. Now a) its not 120k$ anymore and b) you dont know how to spell SAVING (its at 1.x% of GDP in US), so > US economy does not have its big pillar of support called consumer spending anymore available.

Dont look for trees anymore. It's the forest time now.
