You are comparing apples with grapes Mr. Reece
Am I?
Are you really sure about that?? Think long and hard about it..
I wouldn't be quite so quick to discuss "wrongdoing" on my part when you may have it occurring so close to "home". Maybe if you were analyzing your investment more objectively, you would understand that you don't require a written contract for PR services in order to commit a 17(b) violation.
And I'm NOT saying that Bgtit is some evil, conniving stock manipulator. I don't know him and I'm willing to give him the benefit of a doubt, quite unlike what has been stated or alluded about me on this thread. Since I don't perceive any difference between what Bgtit has done or my circumstances(and neither does Section 17(b) I suspect, any statements of fraud on my part, thus must transfer to you friend.
In fact, the SEC just has to believe you were encouraged to post positive things because of past or future consideration, OF ANY TYPE. BTW, the facts are that I never had a written contract either. (of course, I have to ask, why should I have?) Ask yourself, would Bgtit have been so enthusiastic if he weren't anticipating some form of consideration in the future from AZNT?? And once they file that complaint, how many defendants will choose to pay upwards of $70-100,000 in legal fees to defend themselves? Again, I'm not declaring Bgtit is a manipulator. If he is, in fact, a just an enthusiastic shareholder willing and able to assist the company in getting its story out anyway possible, then I probably feel quite a bit of sympathy for him. But based upon my experience, I suggest he lay low on this thread from now on.... for his own safety.
As for self-cleansing... I have already resolved myself to whatever ultimately results. Guilty or Innocent, Right or Wrong, the one lesson I have learned from all of this is STAY AWAY from being too cozy with management. And never take a thin dime from anyone in charge of one of your investments.
Not unless you choose to restrict your ability comment publicly on your investments.
I wish you boys/girls lots of luck today as the "big sqeeze" begins.
