Sal, those valuations of US peers are a result of higher earnings. I believe CGI still has work to do to get those types of valuations but they are certainly going in the right direction!

I do think a high $20s or low $30s could be justified right now though. If you follow the Motley Fool investment approach, us Fools have been buying CGI for a while and continue to accumulate since the P/E is still under 50.

As for the relationship between Tuesday close and Wednesday open, there is no relationship. The close price on Tuesday reflects the highest price any seller was willing to pay. The opening price on Wednesday is the lowest price anyone is willing to sell. Again, supply and demand controls it all - without the funds "dumping", the price went quickly up.
