So - what's your downside target for DELL ?
I am currently hedged on DELL and want to pick a post split bottom for it. The arguments for a slide post split are

1. In Feb/Mar 1997 : Post split DELL did slide but pre split - it closed far above what it was trading before earnings/split.
2. After Oct 1997, it traded wildly down for a while.

So both together indicate that DELL may trade down. But since dell didn't really get it's pre split pop up except for a few days - could it be that it will confound us and trade up after split ?
It's sep pain point is 115 and if it fluctuates wildly around that - it may crack 100 once or twice (50 post split) and 115 on the other side (57.5)

What's your expectation ?
