Rabbit!!! SHAME ON YOU! How can you defile the tradition of the Shaggy Dog! It must be torturous, endured, perhaps over days, and days of telling till that punch line! Only after a few paragraphs, releasing the punch line, oh, I can't believe it. The telling of the true Shaggy Dog story should envoke murderous thoughts in the listener towards the teller. At least, it did for me...(3 days of telling it...the guy was an expert. He said he has told it for entire weeks...)
