Silicon Valley M&A Market PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1998--Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP announced that it is advising CKS Group Inc. (Nasdaq:CKSG - news; Cupertino, Calif., NASDAQ:CKSG) in connection with its agreement to merge with USWeb Corp. (Nasdaq:USWB - news; Santa Clara, Calif., NASDAQ:USWB), announced yesterday.
The merger is valued at more than $375 million based on market prices at the close of business on Friday and will be carried out by means of a tax-free stock-for-stock exchange.
