The big difference is that its Digital, it cannot be done over the Internet but is done on an Intranet...such as Rogers Cable is building in Canada. The problem is bandwidth.....I believe that once your home/business is connected to the higher bandwidth provided by your COAX connection, atleast in my case thats what our area is doing with Media One, you would be able to use such technology....What is then needed is the digitilization of the content. The first content their doing is the Educational Library at LEARN in CT. That will be started in the next two weeks.
