.70 and counting.....

TC has changed over the past year and 1/2. The big shake-up came when the board poposed a merger with Lava Systems (TSE:LVA) which the shareholders rejected. Management took this as a vote of non-confidence and resigned, leaving the company in disarray. (stock dropped to .20 from a 2.60-3.20 trading range)(as an aside, it was rumoured that TC wanted the chief of Granite to head up TC here in Canada, which he politely said "f-c- Off").

The current management have been successful in turning the company around and starting to put focus on sales. Until lately, revenues have been neglible, and they were selling their Telular Corp (NASDQ:WRLS) shares to fund their working capital. Their success until lately has been primarily in their Granite sub. What I find to be very encouraging in the fact that the Nortel deal signaled that the wireless division had some real merit. So now it seams that it's not just Granite holding TC, but the company as a whole is starting to become profitable (the recently announced consolidation will only help this process).

Cheers.
