I think that artical is accurate and cd-rw gets to ride cd-r's success. CD-R dedicated drives are fading fast because for a few dollars more you can enjoy 3 drives in one. Just as the cd-rw camp beat out PD's, they will beat out DVD-RAM for computer use because DVD-R+W will be able to write to cd-r. This is just one more reason to get the unlicensed manufactures in line. Feel free to call the company and express your concerns, I do it every week, we need more than just me.
