Ones perspective of BA depends on whether your glass is half empty or half full.

BOEING CO plans to build more than 100 copies of its new 717-200
jet by the end of 2001, a company official said late Wednesday,
indicating the manufacturer has far more than the announced 55
orders for the short-hop model. The 717 is the smallest commercial
model Boeing offers with just 106 seats. Boeing previously said it
had additional unannounced orders for the jet but has declined to
release details. Boeing is likely to disclose new orders for the
model at next week's Farnborough Air Show in England, according to industry sources. (Reuters 08:28 PM ET 09/02/98) For the full text story, see
