Looks very interesting. This is all marketing slime though. You will not get near 10M a second from the internet. I have acccess to two DS3's (90Mbps) at work and on sunday mornings with two users using it I'm lucky if I can sustain download rates of 1Mbps. The internet isn't just that fast anymore. Seems basically affordable but I personally would get the cable modem and take advantage of faster upload speeds and reduced cost. BTW: Another issue for some folks are restrictions from Home owners associations on mouting antennas and dishes on their houses. 18" Dish owners can get around this because Direct-tv lobbied congress to pass a federal law that supercedes these local convenants. This technology is gaining a lot of popularity in rural areas like montanta, idaho and minnesota, and even around here in Asheville, NC. Lets us know the real throughput #
s when you get it running...
