Russia may have a compromise on Monday-
The economy is not showing me deflation, look at car sales, the market is discounting financials completely and the problems of Latin America have not even surfaced.
The world is no different economically than what it was 8 weeks back.
Let the numbers show the slow down, hourly earnings rise will be noted by bond traders, 0.5% rise is quite strong and this is not related to deflation, 70% of inflationary pressures come thru wage inflation, commodity is only 30%, if we have deflationary pressures in offing why wage pressures are showing up in hourly earnings , why employment is showing still a robust growth and why unemployment is at 4.5% not 5.8%-- countries going thru deflation do have much very high unemployment and very low consumer demand on both counts I am not seeing any slow down, as far as global pressures are concerned it is priced more than adequately in DOW now down 2000 and change points..
