Intel's chipset business is under siege now too.

Um, Scum, SiS has always been a competitor to Intel's chipset business. The article you posted hardly suggests that Intel's chipset business is in trouble just because SiS will release a graphics-on-chipset solution before Intel.

In fact, SiS's presence is healthy for Intel's chipset business. It doesn't pose much of a threat, but it still keeps Intel's chipset designers from become lazy. Plus, SiS is considering licensing Intel's technology. This is very good news both for Intel and for SiS.
