Twenty cents a spoonful is not necessarily expensive (although it could be exhorbitant) ... depends on the amount needed. If it is indeed 20X sugar, then a person would need only a very small amount (maybe served in an eyedropper).

The more I hear about aspertane and saccarin, the more afraid I am becoming about using them, and I stick pretty close to a diet that is predicated upon only using sugar free or very low sugar foods.

I've ordered some and hope to have it here by Tuesday's resumption of mail service.

BTW, check cygs thread, and realize that I am just having a little fun with joking about your stock purchases ... I still have cygs, as well as AZNT.

As the the reason << fda approved aspertane and the way no new sweetener alternative can get fda approval >>, I only hope that it because the studies are incomplete, or some other legitimate reason ... however, there is no government on the face of the earth that is sufficiently honest to really believe that about. IMHO
