I guess I wasn't thinking smart when I bought this stock, as I based it on really big prospects for NetGain.

I now realize that NetGain will not be a big winner any time soon.

These kinds of products take a LONG time to produce any significant sales, even when the product is quite good.

I think many of us have been thinking that sales will take off once the product ships. That is very doubtful, especially for a corporate product. My best guess is that IF the product is very good, it will take two years or longer for it to make a major positive impact for the company's bottom line. (In fact, I would be very surprised if NetGain produces $250K in revenues in its first full quarter of general release. I will be even more surprised if the company actually reports NetGain sales.)

The only exception to this would be if the company were to spend MAJOR bucks in sales and marketing. Since the company does not have MAJOR bucks to spend, it would have to raise the money or be bought out. That is a possibility, but something I would never bet on.

Of course, if the product is only so-so, it will fail (quickly), and any support for the stock price will totally collapse.
