Very interesting question.

Let me ask you a question. My question presupposes that you have at least 50% in equities, so, if that is not the case, please let me know. My question, which is purely speculative, is:

If Bob issues a sell signal at a point 5% lower than the market is now, will you follow his advice?

I may or may not. On one hand, his sell signals (for mutual funds)are usually correct, although sometimes a little late. On the other hand, I really hate selling when the market is at lows.
