The loudest voice in Cheyenne is none other than the State of Wisconsin! This according to the latest annual report (11/95). Largest holders include State of Wisconsin Investment Board with a whopping 10.10% of all shares outstanding, and Wellington Management Company with 6.07%. All executive officers and directors as a group (11 persons) hold 3.34% of common shares outstanding, and this includes a number of shares not actually owned but acquirable under various stock options plans. Too bad the State of NY doesn't invest it's surplus cash (?) in tech stocks. Maybe we could lower the taxes and tolls here too!
