I don't agree. IMO, the arrival of a recession in Japan, Asia crisis and the general slowdown in global semiconductor demand, which has caused companies like LSI, ATML, NSM etc. to lose nearly 300% of their stock value, correlates quite nicely with INTC only making well over 1 billion dollars each QUARTER during this period.
