Mang & All: I heard about the _new_ Core Builder (the 9000) when I spoke with a COMS representative the other day. From what he was tell me these things will kick ass. This unit is WELL ahead of the industry curve and will command HUGE premiums. It will also help the sales of the smaller units (you know how it works, I buy one piece of brand-X and for ease I install brand-X everywhere else). I am currently trying to convince McMaster University (in Hamilton Ontario) where I work to switch to 3COM products (we currently have Cisco scattered around the campus). The good news is, it seems I am making in roads. The most surprising thing is the price difference. Any piece of COMS equipment is at least 33% cheaper than the CSCO stuff. If COMS can keep up this kind of pressure, they will do a lot of damage to CSCO. Steve
