Mr.Charters, the Econ Geo report had a few other tidbits to draw on. They did a study on the inclusions in different rock samples. It showed the minerlization ocurred at increasing LOWER temperature as one approached the porphory deposit. The highest temps for formation occurred under the mantos depoists. Also the sality actually increased away from the porphyry deposit and towards the mantos deposit. The model shows a series of intrusions occurring with the oldest East of Andicollo and the youngest West of Andicollo.
Looks like the reason Mantos deposits formed was due to pre existing faults-the intrusive came up from undernealth. In the case of the porphyry deposit, no such faults existed.

In the case of the Lapangue and Los Das Marias, this area already has an extensive mining history.
Los Das Marias stockworks have already been extensively mined-but appears to have plenty leftover. The plateau of Lapangue(flat top mountain) has an old mine of the NE side- La Campo or something like that that produced lots of gold not to mention numerous placers that have been mined for centuries on the side of this mountain so the potential is there. But what is the reality?
