Charlie Tuna: Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea MAXIMA Culpa

Sorry I didn't respond earlier to your post. Is that apology sincere? Only my concubine knows for sure.

Probably the reason I didn't respond was that I don't have a clue about IBM's plans and that's the TRUTH! Why anybody would want to get into the Intel clone biz now baffles me. Even Intel can't maintain their once astounding margins. It is my understanding that IBM don't make tons of money on their PC biz, rather they use PC's to sell their other higher margin stuff. They probably don't need Idt's RISC technology either.

Apples new box is selling like hotcakes, and guess what, it don't have no stinkin Intel chips. It's being sold as a convergence machine. The PC ain't dead, but it is most definitely MORPHING. Soon all media will be on the web. That market bring silicon into every home in America. The company that figures out the right configuration of convergence silicon SOC owns the future. If you find out who that is, do let me know! Pleeeeeeeaaaase?

BTW since I've become convinced of your brilliance, I've stopped buying all Starkist products. Does this make us partners in tin?
