Motorola is getting out of the modem business and they are dumping out there 56K V.90 modems at the unheard of price of $25 bucks a modem. These are full hardware modems, not Winmodems that should be avoided at all costs due to their tying up the CPU. You call the 800 number for Motorola that you can get off 800 information and then get the Tidal Wave program number. What a bargin. You can flash back and forth between 56K Flex and V.90 which is nice if your ISP isn't getting the bugs worked out of V.90 yet. The flash firmware is on the Motorola website: www.motorola.com; pick products; pick dial up modems; etc.
