Beware BNEZ - Ben Ezra & Weinstein and Company.
I was an investor in BNEZ and lost a very large sum of money in the past several months. I am only posting this here to warn you all about BNEZ because I feel there is something very fishy going on with its' management & market manipulation. Here's why:
Price at around .16-.18 BNEZ releases good news about possible future orders (700,000) of their product PMA (Personal Market Analyst). By this time investors could opt for a sample Beta test version of this software sent free of charge to their home for sampling.
Price rises, peaking at .20-.21. BNEZ releases news that the very next day (after the news) there will be a 12 for 1 reverse split and possible future dividend. Reason: BNEZ wished to pump its stock to reach NASDAQ requirements (sound familiar), as well as squeeze out the shorts by issuing a dividend immediately after the reverse split. The stock immediately drops to around .12 w/mass selling.
The stock opens up at around $1.00 (Presplit .08) and most of the investors in at .19 or so (when the news was established) immediately lose over 50% of their investment. Now the long investors can only hope to partially regain their investments and squeeze out the shorts with the upcoming dividend.
Several weeks pass, the stock levels off at $1.00 awaiting dividend news. The dividend is announced at .01/share (yes, 1 cent) which is hardly enough dividend to squeeze out any shorts or promote investment in BNEZ.
Mass-dumping of the stocks occur, weeks pass, and now the price is approaching .16 (.01 pre-split) However during these weeks many good news stories have been announced for BNEZ (at prices well above .16) such as a PMA-distribution deal with INC magazine! The stock continues to tumble, and at this point there is probably no hope to return to pre-split levels of .19 or more. Many of the investors in BNEZ are still posting to SI, very loyal, continue to average down, and believe that BNEZ will prevail.
