Change the subject already, I'll give you some interesting thoughts but they are only that do not go out and invest in them, they are only my thoughts, let's see how good we are.
Reader's Digest a takeover target stock by large media conglomerate
Lucent Technologies on the prowl for acquisitions, looks like Ascend Communications is a perfect fit seems like 65 sounds like a good number
AOL to be bought by AT&T, Na old news, look for price run up into the 120's, then 2 for 1 split and look for a bidding war, they have the market share that everybody wants, instant entry into the number one seat. Look for big numbers here.
YHOO throw them into the same mold as above this stock is priced ridiculously but they are buying real estate.
Just an interesting note my screenings came up with TDFX company beat the streets estimates by 300% top ticked in the 30's and proceeded to lose 60% of its value. Real company with real earnings stock is in the $16 range after being $35 and surprised the street. Next earnings due approx. 7/15 could be interesting play to see where it is a couple of days before earnings and then dump it on the earnings news. (the killer in this stock was millions of warrants exercisable at $12 that blasted into the market, yet company is ridiculously profitable. Unusual for this type of company.
Roslyn Savings Bank RSLN has been in acquisition mode, believe posturing to be taken over stock has sold off from high of 30 and looks cheap, let's see
